Creative Writing Workshop

If you can talk you can write!

Many people think they can’t write. Perhaps they just haven’t been given the right direction.

This workshop introduces easy ways for participants to write their thoughts down in a relaxed and non-judgmental setting. Students will be guided to write whatever works for them, be it poetry, a short story or life story, maybe the start of a novel! There will be some structure, sharing, guidance and ideas to use for practical applications, like personal greetings.

Bring a pen or pencil and spiral notebook for writing. This workshop will whet the appetite for more!

Mary Coolman has taught writing classes since the 1990’s. She is a published poetess and author. Mary wrote columns for Pasadena Stare News and Glendale Free Press.
